This chocolate bar is inspired by traditional Aztec xocoatl, an early form of chocolate preparation from Mesoamerica. It is made by Naïve using cacao, sugar, and spices, reflecting how chocolate was historically consumed in a spiced and aromatic form rather than as a simple sweet confection.
The emphasis is on cacao as a central ingredient, supported by warming spices that add complexity and depth.
Ingredients: specialty cacao, cane sugar, pure cacao butter, achiote, honey, vanilla pompona, ancho chile. May contain traces of dairy, wheat, peanuts, or tree nuts. Cacao minimum 65%. Keep dry and cool. Wild or all-natural farming.
