Description
A Copenhagen Chocolate Lab × Beaningful Collaboration
Crafted in collaboration between Copenhagen Chocolate Lab and Beaningful, The Takahashi 75% showcases the rich heritage and ecological renewal of the Brazilian Amazon.
This single-farm cacao originates from Tomé-Açu in Pará, Brazil, where the Takahashi family established their farm following Japanese immigration to the region in 1930. Today, Jorge Takahashi stands at the forefront of a transformative agricultural movement.
Moving away from decades of monoculture and deforestation, the farm embraces agroforestry—restoring the Amazonian landscape into a vibrant, reforested haven of native flora and fauna. Here, cacao grows in harmony with the ecosystem, representing both economic resilience and sustainable stewardship.
