My passion for fine chocolate ultimately led me to explore the rich world of cacao, beginning with a journey to family run cacao farms in Colombia. While there, I learned firsthand about cacao process, the cacao industry, and cacao harvest, including fermentation and drying. As a result, this immersive experience deepened my appreciation for the intricate processes involved in creating specialty chocolate.

Chocolate shop in Copenhagen

In June 2024, I opened Bean to Bite, a small chocolate shop in Copenhagen at Østergade 26A. The name is a wordplay on 'Bean to Bar,' reflecting the shop's focus on specialty chocolate. My goal is to share the unique chocolate flavors of single origin cacao that I've encountered during my journeys to the rich and diverse regions where cacao is harvested. Each chocolate bar highlights ethically sourced cacao, chosen for its quality as well as its positive impact on both the environment and the communities that cultivate it, supporting sustainable practices and fair livelihoods. As part of the growing chocolate Copenhagen scene, we invite customers to experience how the journey from bean to bar transforms exceptional cacao into memorable chocolate experiences.
